Letters to Nicholas Low of New York City, Bingham's agent, concerning investments, with some comments on political and personal matters. Also deeds to Joshua Whitney; agreements between the executors of Bingham's estate and Whitney for land sales, 1810, 1813; a letter and account book, 1835-40, concerning sale of lands belonging to Anne Bingham Baring and Maria de Tilly, Bingham's daughters. Two reels of microfilm of Bingham papers concerning land investments in Pennsylvania and Maine, and a number of photocopied letters from Bingham to Low, 1787-94.

William Bingham (March 8, 1752 – February 7, 1804) was an American statesman from Philadelphia. He was a delegate for Pennsylvania to the Continental Congress from 1786 to 1788 and served in the United States Senate from 1795 to 1801. Bingham was one of the wealthiest men in the United States during his lifetime, and was considered to be the richest person in the United States in 1780.
